Create an identity and signature in Cloud Mail Web App

Create an identity so your name appears in the "From" field when you send emails. Insert a signature at the end of each message you send.

Create an identity

  1. Sign into Cloud Mail Web App.
  2. From the ≡ menu in the top-right corner and choose Settings.
  3. Click the Composing Mail panel and then the Identities tab.
  4. Select your email address from the Current Identities list, then click Edit.
  5. Enter your name in Full Name, as you want it to appear in the "From" field when you send emails.
  6. Click OK. Save then press Ctrl + R (Cmd + R on macOS) to reload the Web App and apply the new setting.

Create a signature

  1. Sign into Cloud Mail Web App.
  2. From the ≡ menu in the top-right corner and choose Settings.
  3. Click the Composing Mail panel and then the Signatures tab.
  4. Click Add New Signature.
  5. Enter anything for Signature Name (perhaps your first name). If you want to format the text in your signature, click Enable Formatting.
  6. Create the signature content you want in the Edit Signature box.
  7. Click OK. Select all three checkboxes on the Signatures tab:
    • Always show signature when composing an email
    • When replying to an email, insert my signature
    • When forwarding an email, insert my signature
  8. Click Save.
  9. Once again, from the ≡ menu in the top-right corner and choose Settings.
  10. Click the Composing Mail panel and then the Identities tab.
  11. Select your email address from the Current Identities list, then click Edit.
  12. From the Default Signature list, select the name of the signature you just created.
  13. Click OK. Save then press Ctrl + R (Cmd + R on macOS) to reload the Web App and apply the new setting.
